15th Anniversary SupplySide West Opens Strong
LAS VEGAS—After Tuesday’s strong showing in education, Wednesday kicked off at SupplySide West with the featured speaker presentation by Joy Bauer, well-attended education sessions including the NDI Town Hall, and a show floor packed with opportunities. Attendees and exhibitors helped open the show by celebrating SupplySide West’s 15-year anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony immediately after the featured speaker. A packed show floor turned out later in the day to join VIRGO for its SupplySide West 15th Anniversary cake and champagne toast. “The SupplySide West exhibit hall opened strong Wednesday with a recording-breaking day of more than 9,500 participants. Traffic is amazing, attendees are abundant and exhibitors are extremely happy,” said Peggy Jackson, vice president of VIRGO’s Health & Nutrition Network. “It was a great way to kick off SupplySide West’s 15th anniversary.”
VIRGO's Todd Willis and Peggy Jackson are joined by Steve Hill, Director, Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development at the ribbon cutting ceremony to open the 15th Annual SupplySide West show.
Kudos and cheers all around for SupplySide West’s 15th anniversary. Reviews from attendees and exhibitors echoed that sentiment. “This show just keeps growing and growing, which is great to see,” said Joe Archer, vice president of sales and marketing, All American Pharmaceuticals. “Our customers are coming by for face-to-face meetings and closing deals.” Dan Wing, vice president of operations, Irwin Naturals: “What can I say, but this is the most awesome show yet, and I have been coming for six years.” After a long day of doing business, attendees gathered at the Opening Reception, co-sponsored by DSM Nutritional Products and Vitamin Angels and highlighting their efforts to end global childhood malnutrition and hunger. Attendees also learned more about how they can “earn their wings” and double their impact during the show. Following up on last year’s successful relocation, the event was again held at Tao Nightclub in The Venetian where attendees enjoyed an open bar, savory Asian cuisine and networking.
